At first, the dayroom of the adult daycare center was an alien place to writer Britney Fitzgerald. But then she met Mrs. Margaret.
Mrs. Margaret is a mother of seven, grandmother and great-grandmother who spends many days at the P.A.C.E. (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) center in Hampton, Va.
"I love being here. It keeps me up," she says.
